Bermuda offers a stable political environment and a legal system based on English Common Law with the right of appeal to the Privy Council. Martial Capital and its funds operate under extensive third party supervision, oversight, and custody. Specifically:
- All client monies and assets (securities) are held either in a trust account at Harbour Financial Services or by Morgan Stanley, our Prime Broker.
- The Net Asset Value per share (NAV) – the price of a unit in our funds – is calculated by our third-party administrator.
- The details of our funds and how they operate are fully spelled out in a detailed Private Placement Memorandum, approved by the Bermuda Monetary Authority, downloadable below.
- The funds are audited.¹
